Chemical properties: Colorless to light straw yellow oil, with spearmint aroma. Boiling point 231℃, flash point 93.5℃. Soluble in propylene glycol, vegetable oil and mineral oil, miscible Chemicalbook in ethanol, insoluble in glycerin and water. The natural product is the main component of spearmint oil (content can be up to 70%).

Use: perfumery, mainly used for preparation of lyceum fragrance essence.
